Some websites gained traffic and rankings, while for others traffic dropped significantly.<\/p>\n<p>Sistrix shared the data they got in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sistrix.com\/blog\/google-core-update-more-content-and-news-sites-affected\/\">blog post<\/a>. According to Sistrix, <em>\u201ctoday\u2019s data clearly shows the impact of the core update. In the daily Visibility Index of the Toolbox, you can see changes from 05.06. on 06.06.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to data presented by Sistrix, here are the top 10 UK websites that gained more visibility after the core algorithm update.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/improvemysearchranking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Websites-that-gained-more-visibility-after-the-core-algorithm-update.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9518\" src=\"https:\/\/improvemysearchranking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Websites-that-gained-more-visibility-after-the-core-algorithm-update.png\" alt=\"Websites that gained more visibility after the core algorithm update\" width=\"450\" height=\"223\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the following are the top 10 websites that significantly lost visibility after Google rolled the June 2019 update.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/improvemysearchranking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Websutes-that-lost-visibility-after-the-core-algorithm-update.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9517\" src=\"https:\/\/improvemysearchranking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Websutes-that-lost-visibility-after-the-core-algorithm-update.png\" alt=\"Websutes that lost visibility after the core algorithm update\" width=\"450\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Steve Paine from Sistrix mentioned, <em>\u201cWe are seeing many YMYL websites, but there are also classical news sites, retail, and many others. It appears that this Google Core Update is broader than the last updates.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>How to fix the problem?<\/h2>\n<p>If you have a website that is affected by this core algorithm update, Google\u2019s John Mueller has some advice for you. However, it is not very specific.<\/p>\n<p>John mentioned that core algorithm updates are not about a specific issue (relevance, for example) that the webmaster can fix. Here is what he said:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWith a lot of the relevance updates, a lot of the kind of quality updates, the core updates that we make, there is no specific thing where we\u2019d be able to say you did this and you should have done that, and therefore we\u2019re showing things differently.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He also added, <em>\u201cSometimes the web just evolved. Sometimes what users expect evolves and similarly, sometimes our algorithms are, the way that we try to determine relevance, they evolve as well.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Focus on quality<\/h2>\n<p>At the end of the day, quality is all that matters.
