Facebook has announced that any public figure or journalist with a verified profile<\/strong> can now access a new feature: live streaming<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Get ready. You are now going to see a lot more live streaming events on your Facebook news feed.<\/p>\n

This is because the super-exclusive Facebook Mentions App \u2014 which was first used only by popular celebrities and musicians \u2014 is now no longer super, super<\/em> exclusive. It is now available to journalists and other public figures with a verified profile.<\/p>\n

Please note that, at this stage, the feature is still in its infancy phase. This is why it is not yet available to everyone who is a Facebook user.
