Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seat-belts. We may be facing another huge mobile-friendly ranking algorithm update \u2014 this time by Bing.<\/p>\n

Although there has not been any official announcement by Bing or by any other credible source, various updates across the web are hinting that Bing may introduce a mobile-friendly ranking algorithm just like Google has today on April 21st, 2015.<\/p>\n

Why Are We Suspecting This?<\/h2>\n

A good question, indeed.<\/p>\n

As I said earlier, there are a few hints that suggest this may be happening sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n

First of all, and you might not have even noticed this, but Bing has quietly slipped in a \u201cmobile-friendly label\u201d in its search engine results to the websites Bing thinks have a really good mobile-friendly experience for their users.<\/p>\n

See the following image. You will notice a \u201cmobile friendly label\u201d on the left side.<\/p>\n

This indicates that Bing now has a proven method to accurately identify which websites are offering a mobile-friendly user-experience. How long does it take before Bing starts ranking those websites in accordance with that user-friendly mobile experience?<\/p>\n

Secondly, Bing has also completely revamped their homepage for mobile devices. According to Bing, it is a \u201csignificant redesign\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The interface of that homepage is now swipeable up or down. Moreover, it also offers quicker searching capabilities to the users.<\/p>\n

With so much attention for mobile SEO, mobile-friendly labels, and mobile homepage designs, there is enough evidence to suspect that Bing will be introducing a mobile-friendly ranking algorithm very soon.<\/p>\n

If you remember, Google also had a very similar strategy.<\/p>\n

Google announced their own mobile-friendly label last year. And now, on April 21st, 2015, it is going to roll out one of their biggest mobile-friendly ranking algorithm update.<\/p>\n
